Biff picked up his girlfriend every morning. She lived in a nicer part of town than he did, and didn't like to drive.
Sarah entered the car, dropping her things in the backseat. As they drove, she criticized what her best friends had been wearing, and gossiped about events at school, and...well, much as Biff liked her, he tended to tune her out.
Suddenly, as he stopped at a traffic light, Sarah trailed off, then got out of the door, closing the door behind her. Biff drove off, and Sarah wandered away.
Biff pulled into the school parking lot. "Shit," he said. He'd forgotten to pick up his girlfriend. He made a u-turn and headed back toward the McMillan house. She was going to be pissed. It was safe to say Biff was afraid of a pissed off Head Cheerleader.
By the time he got back there, she was gone. She must have gotten to school another way. But her bag was still in his backseat. She must have left it there the previous night.
He'd better get to school and return it.
