Mikey quickly went outside as fast as his heels would allow him to go and he ran down the stone path to the sidewalk and looked up and down both ends of the street hoping to find some sign of his mother but unfortunatly he couldn't catch any sight of her. "Damn it, that distraction was just long enough for me to lose her." he says to himself.
He then heads back inside the house and tries to find something that could help his search when he feels a strange shiver pass through his body as he notices that it felt like he grew a few inches in height. Thinking quickly, he heads over to a mirror in the hallway to see that he can see much more of himself in it which means that all aspects of his wish are affecting him.
A thought suddenly crosses his mind as he realizes that the same thing could be happening to Jon and he quickly runs to the kitchen to see his brother sitting at the table eating a bowl of cereal. Mikey looks him over and to his astonishment, he sees that Jon is smaller in size now and no longer has any signs of his progression into adulthood.
'This is bad, this is very bad. What have type of chaos have I created?' Mikey thinks to himself.
Suddenly the phone starts ringing and he quickly goes over to answer it. "Hello?" he asks.
"Mikey I need you to come in early today to help finish filing those reports on the Winston case. Is that going to be a problem?" the voice on the other end asks which Mikey immediately recognizes as his mom's boss Vincent's.
This leaves Mikey at quite a quandary as should he help keep his mom's job intact by going in as her to do her work or try to find her to keep her from taking over someone else's identity and break the chain before it's too late?
