As Mikey's mother left the bedroom, he tried to follow her. He was halfway down the hall when Jon came out of Mikey's bedroom, blocking his path.
He stared at Jon. Jon was dressed in his clothes, carrying his bookbag. Jon looked back at him. "Have you seen my homework, Mom?"
"What?" Mikey said. He called me Mom. "Umm...no."
"Can you help me find it?" he said, insistently.
He looked after his mother, walking down the stairs. "Try the dining room table," he said, wanting to go after her.
He bounded down the stairs, somehow getting past the woman he apparently didn't see there.
Mikey started after him, walking more slowly, not wanting Jon to notice anything up...since he apparently didn't already. He started to follow his mother out the door when Jon popped up again. "Found it!" He said, holding up a paper.
It was Mikey's homework, that he did last night. It still had his name on it. Not only did Jon have Mikey's clothes, he thought he was Mikey.
"Ummm...Jon...who am I?"
"My mom?" He responded.
"And who are you?"
"Jon?"
"Then why doesn't the name on that say it?"
He stared at it. "It does?" He turned it back to her. She could see the writing reform itself. It now said Jon. Freaky
"I have to umm...go," Mikey said, heading outside to find his mother.
