"Uhh, I'm sorry, Sarah?"
"Jessie, what are you talking about?"
"The magic stone, Sarah," replied Jessie. "You know how it changes reality and all of that?"
"What happened? Did you do something to me that I forgot, Jessie?"
Jessie spoke so fast it was hard for Sarah to understand. "No, I wouldn't! I lent it to my sister Michelle, only she wasn't Michelle, she was Mikey, and I didn't really lend it, and she used it to change things and that changed more things and you're in college now...."
"Jessie?" replied Sarah. "Start from the beginning, please... and slow down a bit, okay?"
"I was a guy. So was Michelle, but she was a young boy. She stole the stone and made a magic gun. She transformed me and, by mistake, her. We ended up not even knowing it happened until I wished to know what was going on."
Sarah giggled. "Really. Was I a guy too?"
"No, you were the same, almost, except you were in high school. You didn't get into college a year early, because I had helped Karyn Westwind pull a prank on you. I didn't know anything about you and treated you like a ditz because you're a cheerleader. You needed to go to an interview to get into college at age 17 and because of the prank, you showed up late. It killed your chance of getting into college early. I don't even remember doing it, but I'm sorry, Sarah."
"Wow, that's... Incredible. Look, Jessie, don't worry about it, okay? It didn't happen, not any more..."
