Leslie wasn't paying attention to the drinks that kept coming. He had always been capable of drinking a fair amount so it didn't occur to him that his new body wasn't prepared for it.
Jim's questions were more and more personal and Leslie felt trapped in the lunch.
As the alcohol began affecting him he started talking about his ex-girlfiend.
Jim seemed excited by this.
"So, you've never been with a guy?", Jim said.
"Oh,", Leslie realized that he had just made himself seem like a lesbian,
"no. I've always been attracted to women." Leslie felt this would help him
prevent Jim's advances.
"So, what do you think of her?", Jim indicated the waitress.
"Nice." Leslie loosened up feeling like he could now be just one of the guys.
Leslie started getting a bit drunk and was enjoying talking girls with Jim.
Leslie's worries about Jim disappeared and he felt like they were now friends and just friends.
Leslie was feeling out of it by the time lunch was ending.
Jim said she could lie down at his apartment for a few minutes, it was right next door. Leslie didn't see the reason why not. She felt she could trust him.
Jim's apartment was small. There was just a futon and one room. He laid the futon out and the said they could take a nap before their next class.
Leslie accepted this out of pure need to get a little rest.
Leslie was asleep in seconds....
A guard dropped at the wrong time.
