a jerk surfaces

Leslie felt uncomfortable going to school as a girl but having never been there and his name being ambiguous no one suspected a thing. He would deal with any problems when he changed back later but for now he just needed a routine.
Something about the way Jim looked at her made her uncomfortable.
Leslie only agreed to going with him for lunch on a practical level since they had to go to classes all day.
Jim took her to a nearby sports bar claiming that the cafeteria on campus had lousy food. They sayt in a corner wrap around booth. Leslie didn't think much of it.
Leslie absently ordered a beer and Jim smiled to himself.
Jim told her that she needed to try a different brand he liked and ordered one for her.
Leslie tried to discuss classes with Jim. Jim kept asking about her.
