Connie helped Mike get the practice equipment set up on the field. "Now what?" she asked when they were finished.
"I just have to get the practice balls from the locker room. Then, we can head back to my place and wait for my brother to call me back."
"Okay," Connie nodded, "but first, I've got to run by the little girl's... Uh, better make that the little boy's room. I'm about to pee in my pants."
"Sure. It's right inside the door." Connie left, and Mike headed into the equipment room.
As he rolled the wheeled basket full of footballs back out onto the field, he heard a female voice call his name. He turned to see Gerri Gordon, the head cheerleader, coming across the field. "Hey there, Handsome," she grinned. "When are you going to dump that waste Connie and give me a tumble."
Mike sighed. He knew that the only reason Gerri even gave him the time of day was because she didn't like Connie. They had gone to high school together, and been rivals ever since. He started to respond, but didn't get a chance.
"Get your paws off him, Bitch!"
Both turned to see Connie coming across the field. "Who the hell is that?" Gerri asked.
Before Mike could think of an answer, Connie was on the cheerleader. "I've told you a thousand times, Gordon. Stay away from my boyfriend. What am I going to have to do? Kick your ass?"
Gerri was confused, but she wasn't going to let this strange man threaten her. "How about I kick yours instead?" she said, bringing her knee up into Connie's unprotected crotch.
Connie wasn't used to having male equipment, so she'd made no effort to stop the kick. Instantly, pain shot through her body, and she folded to the ground with her hands locked between her legs.
Gerri grinned down at the man at her feet. "Take that, you pervert," she shouted, drawing back to deliver another kick.
Mike wasted no time. He pointed at the angry cheerleader and said, "Be a football." He watched as a surprised look came to Gerri face, just before she shrunk into her clothes. Satisfied, he bent down to help Connie.
"Take it easy," he told her. "Breath slowly. It'll go away eventually." He helped her to a sitting position, and waited for her to catch her breath. "Better?"
"A little," she answered, "but I'll think twice before I do that to another man." She looked over at Gerri's crumbled clothing. "What happened to the bitch?"
Mike smiled, and went over to the girl's clothes. "I thought she should know what it feels like to get kicked around for a while." He pulled the football that had been the cheerleader out of the clothes. Taking a marker from his pocket, he drew a big 'G' on it. "There. Now, we'll be able to find her later." He tossed the football into the basket, and went to help his girlfriend up. "Let's get you back to my place. You need to relax for a while."
