"Ah, Mom,"said Mikey, "I don't like Carla that much. I don't want to call her!"
"Mikey, do as I say, right now!" said his mother.
"Okay. Boy, Mom, you're being a real baby today!"
Instantly, Deborah became even smaller. Her legs weren't strong enought to support her weight, and she fell to the ground, and immediately began to cry this time, as would any infant (which was what she now was) would when things weren't going its way.
"Oh no," said Mikey in a small voice. "Mom you're grown-up again."
Nothing happened.
"Mom, you're a little girl like you were a few seconds ago."
Still, nothing happened. Mikey picked up the piggy bank he'd been forced to turn Karyn into, and shook the change out of it. Then, he put the clothes back on the bank as best he could and turned it back into Karyn, who immediately turned and began to leave.
"Karyn, wait!" said Mikey.
"I'm sorry, Mikey," said Karyn. "But I'm leaving. I've been changed into too many things today. I'm just too scared to even be around you anymore!"
"But Karyn ... "
