Everything looked the same to Jon. He appeared unchanged. He had a look around his bedroom. It looked exactly the same but he understood his awareness and memories could have changed with the wish. The room could have totally changed and maybe the wish prevented him from seeing it. He quickly appreciated that thinking that way could drive him insane. He had to assume his memories were correct.
He then thought it was maybe something interesting that had happened to the outside world and wouldn't affect the inside of the house. He looked out the window. It looked normal too. He thought maybe all the grass would be purple now or something. He was beginning to get worried. If something interesting had happened why wasn't he aware of it.
As he stood looking out of the window pondering this, something interesting happened. Karyn and a guy that looked like him suddenly appeared on the drive.
Karyn spotted him and waved at him.
Outside on the drive DTH Jon and DTH Karyn were watching Jon at the window and discussing the matter.
"Do you think he'll come down and speak to us?" she asked.
"I would hope so." DTH Jon told her
"He's just standing there though."
"I presume he's just made a wish, because there are a lot of timelines diverging off this one. I'm betting that is something really vague and open to wide interpretation. He's probably trying to put our appearance into context"
"I bet it was something really clever."
"I doubt it. Before I made my wish about the DTH I wasn't very smart and lacked imagination."
"True. Ah he's gone now."
"I see one of three possibilities, he's hiding from us, he's ran away or he's on his way out here to see us."
Just then the door opened.
