"What are you going to do?" wondered Karyn.
"You'll see," replied Jon.
He began to type as Karyn watched. "Make a duplicate of me who is exactly like I was at..." Jon then typed in the date from after he wished away and forgot the stone. "... except that this duplicate is a girl."
He pressed "enter" and the pad filled with a cloud of sparkles, that materialized into a person, who looked like himself. She had short hair, a T-shirt and jeans, and looked very much like Jon at age 17 right after he had gotten the stone. Jon thought it was odd... for the duplicate it would be just as if she had gotten the stone after spring break, forgotten it, and immediately become a girl a year and a half in the future.
