Second, it can make them with any mind and personality. Third, it materializes them like a Star Trek transporter--it can make them with clothes and there's no mess like with a cloning machine. Fourth, since it's a lab experiment, not everyone has permission to use it, but I do."
The room, all of a sudden, was no longer a deserted storage room. Jon and Karyn squinted for a moment as the lighting suddenly changed to that of an occupied room. The equipment that used to be there was gone, but a strange device stood on the side of the room, with a round circular pad and a keyboard attached to a blocky, softly humming, machine.
The door opened and a scientist came in. He looked like one of the many professors at the college and said to Jon, "Well, it's ready now. I'm glad you could volunteer. Just go up to the keyboard and type in what kind of copy you want."
"Yeah, thanks!" replied Jon. He walked up to the keyboard and said "Let me see...."
