Seated on the pedestal, dressed as a serving wench, was Sarah McMillan.
"What are you doing here, Rowena," asked Jon. Wait a sec!, he thought, who the heck is Rowena?!? Do we know her?
"Though it has been many years since we have seen each other, I have been sent to help you. Others were concerned about a betrayal, so I will be subtly helping you with my magic. Though you will not see me again for a while, just say my name, and I will hear you." So saying, she faded from sight.
"We should return upstairs," stated Jon.
When they got back to the top of the stairs (not without Karyn helping Jon a bit), Jon and Karyn found themselves sitting back where they'd been when Karyn had fallen down.
Jon asked Karyn in confusion, "What happened?"
Karyn glanced behind herself, and, noticing that the wall was back in place, said, "I guess we just imagined going down there? Are you here, Rowena?"
