Jon began to get worried about this. He was an elvish princess and Karyn was now a twelve foot tall hulking mass of troll. Jon wasn't worried about Karyn to much she had been one of his closest friends all his life but he had read the book he was worried about Azgrock Carnak.
In the book Azgrock was more ore less the villain. He had kidnapped the Princess Allaria because he was in love with her even though trolls had a blood feud with the elves. He had taken the princess to the troll capital Dul' Goroth were he had imprisoned her and informed her that she would love him or she would die. Allaria's fiance, the human prince Haldrid snuck into the troll capital and attempted to rescue his beloved, but was captured by the troll king. In exchange for his life, Allaria said that she would marry the troll king. However, Azgrock was not to be trusted and was going to exicute Haldrid, but Allaria saved her love and killed the Troll king in his sleep.
Jon was really worried about Karyn, and was very eager to pick another story plot for them to live, because if they continued along this line, not only would he become Karyn's prisoner, but, (and Jon really wished he wasn't remembering the story correctly), he would have to be Karyn's love slave and in the end kill her. Jon couldn't imagine which would be worse, makein love to the troll, or having to kill his best friend.
