Jon arrived back at the tent, still furious. She couldn't believe how stupid Ron was, just crashing through the woods, and screaming. It's as if he was trying to get them all killed by snatchers. As Jon was fuming, he didn't hear the two boys enter the tent.
"Uh, Hermione?" Karyn called. as he moved toward the girl. "Are... are you alright?" he asked, completely confused about Jon's freakout.
"Why wouldn't I be?" she turned, aggressively at them. "I'm trapped in the middle of nowhere with the most wanted wizard in the world, and the stupidest wizard as well!" she shot as she looked at Ron.
"The Locket." Ron said, his eyes locked on hers.
"What?" she snapped angrily. "what about the Locket? Did you destroy it?"
"No." he said calmly, his eyes determinedly locked on hers.
"Why not? Are you too stupid to do that too?" she accused him, but he didn't flinch, or look away. His gaze was steady and confident.
"Because you're still wearing it." he said calmly. It was in that moment that she felt the weight around her neck. She looked down and nestled in her cleavage was the Locket. She was stunned for a moment as the two boys stood in the tent, watching her. She immediately pulled it up over her head and felt a rush of relief wash over her like a Spring breeze.
"Bloody Hell." Jon said as she held the locket out to Karyn, and he took it from her. "I-I'm sorry." she then said as she turned to Ron, his eyes still steely locked on hers, and a slight smile forming in his lips.
Before Jon could say anything else, apologizing about how she was acting, Ron was on her. His lips on hers. His arms wrapped tightly around her, and lifted her off her feet. Karyn watched on in complete shock as the two kissed. Jon was in complete shock as Ron continued to kiss her, and soon, Jon was kissing the boy back. Jon's emotions were controlling her actions, and Jon was just so relieved to have Ron back with them she just went with it.
"Uh... AHEM!" Karyn coughed, in an attempt to grab their attention. "Can we hold off the snogging to destroy the locket, you two?" He said awkwardly.
Ron broke the kiss, and Jon's feet were back on the ground, holding her unsteadily. Ron's goofy smirk seemed sexy to Jon as Ron moved back toward Harry and took the Locket from his hand and walked out of the tent.
Karyn and Jon exchanged a confused look before Karyn followed Ron out of the tent, leaving Jon alone with her thoughts.
