The sound was coming from outside the tent. Hermione and Harry or rather Jon and Karyn in the young witch and wizard's bodies moved to the front of the tent and peaked out.
They both saw a light moving through the forest. It drew closer and then they noticed it was a Doe, a glowing doe.
"Snape." Jon said in Hermione's voice.
"Wow." Karyn said. "It's beautiful."
"Yeah." Jon said as she slid out of the tent, stowing her wand in her jacket pocket. "C'mon, it's going to lead us to the Sword!" Karyn in Harry's body did everything he could to keep up with Jon. Karyn couldn't help but notice how tight Hermione's pants were, and how nice her ass looked. Karyn tried to fight off the thoughts and wondered if Jon was having similar thoughts.
Jon felt how differently her body moved as she jogged through the woods, trying to keep the glowing Doe in sight. She felt her breasts bouncing in her bra, and how her hips moved from side to side. Her entire body felt lighter and more graceful. She was enjoying these new feelings, deep down, but she refused to admit it to herself.
In what seemed only a few minutes, they burst into a clearing, and saw the Doe standing on a small frozen pond of water. As they drew nearer, the Doe vanished like smoke. They stopped and looked to each other.
"Snape is around here somewhere." Jon whispered to the boy next to him.
"OhmyGod!" Karyn quietly squeaked back. "We should find, him! We could change the course of the story! He doesn't need to die!"
"Okay, look" Jon said to Karyn "You're Harry, you need to dive in there and grab the Sword... but give me the locket first. We don't need you drowning."
"Good idea!" Karyn said as he slipped the locket over her head and handed it to the girl in front of him, as he took the wand from her hand.
"I'll circle around, and see if I can find Snape, you be careful!" Jon said as she gave Harry a small kiss on the cheek for luck. She didn't even realize she had done it as she set off around the perimeter looking for their old Potions Master.
Karyn walked cautiously out onto the ice, and he spotted the Sword of Gryffindor under the ice, glowing. He pointed Hermione's wand at the ice, and tried to remember the correct spell.
"Reducto." Karyn said, as a hole exploded in the ice in front of him. He smirked at how cool that was, and he jumped into the frozen water.
Jon heard the small explosion of ice, followed by the splash of Karyn going into the pond, and then she heard movement. She tried to move as quietly as she could as she saw a Black shape behind a tree. But before she could get any closer, she heard a voice from across the ice.
"Harry!" Jon turned to see who it was, and then from the corner of her eye, the Black shape turned toward her.
"Snape!" Jon said as the shape turned on the spot and vanished with a loud crack. "Dammit!" Jon swore.
Karyn closed his hand around the sword and pushed his legs against the muddy bottom and swam up. Seconds later he burst through the water and felt an arm pulling him up onto the ice.
"Th-thanks H-h-hermione." Karyn said through chattering teeth. but when he looked up he saw, not the pretty young witch he expected, but a red haired, freckle faced Ron smiling at him.
"Guess again." Ron said with a smirk.
"You complete idiot!" the two boys heard Jon scream as she stormed down on them. "You are such a complete... arse!" she finishes with a stomp of her foot. Harry and Ron exchange a look and then look back at her.
"Hermione... look, I'm sorry!" Ron starts.
"Shut up!" She cuts him off, and looks at Harry. "He scared Snape off!"
"Snape?" Ron asked, completely lost.
"Ugh!" Jon said, frustrated, and allowing her emotions to control her. She snatched the wand back from Harry, pointing it at the soaking wet and shivering boy. Jon used the Hot-Air Charm to dry Karyn. "You two boys destroy that Horcrux, and meet me back at the tent!" And she turned on her toe and stormed off."
"Completely mental, that one." Ron quipped as he watched her leave.
