(Out of story note: #1 is the redhead and was stuck. I messed up my own story a few times. "Hesitation" and "Revealing the Medallion" are correct, "Success!" and "Night and Morning" are partly or all backwards (though it doesn't matter much since he changes back in Success).)
Scott #1 started to change. Or it seemed that way for a few seconds, but only a few strands of black hair could be seen before they became reddish again.
"Dammit," said #1. "I'm still a girl...."
"We just have to wait," said #2. "Periods don't last forever. And about that name--how about 'Stacy'. Or 'Skye.'"
"No!" exclaimed #1.
"But I have to call you something," said #2.
"You can call me 'Scott,'" said the redhead girl. "You won't talk to yourself, so if you say 'Scott' I know it means me."
"Wait," said #2, "I have a better idea. Though I'm sure you'd think of it too. Why don't we name the bodies? Whichever of us is the redhead is Scarlett, the blonde is Skye, and anything else is Stacy."
"No good. It's going to be harder to remember, and what if we're both in the same body?"
"Look, how about this, then. We have to do something. Right now I'm Scott and you're Stacy. I won't be able to change until around 8:30 PM, and you can't change until who knows when, but next time you can name me. Okay, Stacy?"
The redhead grumbled, but sighed and said "Sure, Scott. I'm Stacy."
"So, Stacy, while we're waiting to see when you can change back, what do we do now?"
"Whatever it is, don't try to ask me on a date. I know you're going to try that, Scott."
"Because you would?"
"Well, yeah," said Stacy. She chuckled a bit.
"Do you think it's safe to go out of the house and worry about being recognized?" asked Scott.
"I don't know," said Stacy. "It's a risk, but if this lasts several days I don't want to stay indoors all that time. So why don't we..."
