Karyn took a small step and started to lose her balance. Jon rushed to support her. He had no idea what was going on. Maybe the skull was malfunctioning. Messing with Karyn's brain or something. The old man had said it was safe, but Jon couldn't be certain of that.
Karyn looked at his truly concerned face and smiled. She was glad he was her friend. Then she heard something that made her want to cry.
"Goddamn, she's hot. I wish I could see her naked."
Karyn vanished and her clothes fell to the floor. Jon caught her shirt before it hit the ground and looked at it in terror. He frantically started looking around to find her.
A teenage boy ran over to Jon and said "Holy shit! That was awesome. What was that, some sort of magic trick? Where'd she go?"
Panicking slightly, Jon replied "I wish I knew. She wasn't feeling to well" as he started to pick up his friend's clothes.
"What do you mean?" Asked the boy. "Aren't you two some sort of magic stunt people?"
Jon looked at him like he was crazy. Then, Jon decided to go with this. That explanation was probably better than any other he could give. "Yea, we are, but I mean, I'm kinda new at this sort of thing so I don't really know where she went. She had a headache before the act, so she could be anywhere. I'm pretty worried about her. Can you help me find her?"
"ehh..." the boy looked at his watch and said "I donno.. I gotta meet up with some friends pretty soon."
"Where ever she is, she'll probably be naked."
"Sure. I can help you." said the boy. He stuck out his hand and said "The name's Jerry."
Jon shock it and said his name. "I think we should probably split up. Cover more area. She could be anywhere in the mall." Or anywhere else for that matter, thought Jon, "Her name's Karyn. If you find her, tell her to meet me here. Let's meet up in a half hour."
"Deal" said Jerry and they split up.
