Heading Out

Scott pondered things for a while longer, then abruptly stood up and stretched. It was all very well checking out her new body at home, but she wondered what it would feel like to be this person around other people. She thought for a moment, then slipped the medallion into her top dresser drawer, grabbed a little of her cash stash, headed downstairs, and slipped her tennis shoes on. It would be a good three or four hours before her parents came home, and her house was only three blocks down from the local arcade.
Walking in her new body took a little getting used to, but she had it down in a matter of minutes. Somehow, once she tried some new behavior for a little bit, it took only a little longer before it was as natural as if she'd always been doing it. By the time she reached the arcade, she was moving the way any other teenage girl might, if they had cat-ears and a tail, that is.
