“What the hell is going on?” Sarah exclaimed as she took in what was happening in the gym hall, Mikey was holding her hand.
The cheerleaders were currently holding one of their practice sessions, something which Sarah couldn’t believe that she had forgotten about, but that wasn’t the thing that had shocked her.
No, the thing that had shocked Sarah was the fact that Linda woman, was wearing Sarah’s cheerleading outfit and seemed to be acting as if she was running the place.
Everyone in the room had stopped what they were doing and had turned around to stare at Sarah.
“Mom!?” Someone in the room called out. Sarah looked towards the voice and saw Jonny Gibson also decked out in the school’s cheerleading uniform, although that didn’t seem to bother her as much as being called Mom did.
Jonny ran over to her looking embarrassed. “Mom?” He repeated. “What are you doing here?”
Sarah, phased for a moment, before shaking her head. She pointed towards Linda. “Her.” She said and Jonny followed Sarah’s fingers.
“What’s Linda got to do with this?” Jonny asked.
“She’stealing my clothes somehow.” Sarah explained. Jonny looked at her both embarrassed and puzzled.
“Mom, you’re embarrassing me.” He said looking around behind him at his friends.
“And that’s another thing.” Sarah said continuing. “I’m not your mother. She is.” Sarah pointed at Linda again.
Jonny looked over to Linda and then back at Sarah a look of recognition on his face.
