By the time Jon and Sarah were finished "studying," Jon had, in addition to Sarah's lip gloss and interest in fashion, gained her posture, her perfume, and her penchant for pink: while not overt, Sarah could see the color highlighting several items in the room, as well as appearing on his socks and on his belt.
Sarah had also casually guided the "study" session away from the historical facts of Jacqueline Kennedy over to her personal life, and from there over to gossip columns. Jon had no idea that he was the one being tutored.
After an hour or so, Sarah stood up and picked up her backpack. "Thank you, Jon, I think I can pass the test now."
Jon blinked, closing a browser tab with an article about Ariana Grande. Weren't they supposed to be studying Jacqueline Kennedy? Well, it wasn't his grade on the line, and besides, it had been surprisingly fun spending time with Sarah.
"I'm glad I could help. You want me to walk you to the door?"
Sarah nodded and followed the boy across the hall and down the stairs, where he bumped into Zoe, his mopey gothic younger sister, as she was on her way up.
"Ugh, what is Sarah McMillan doing here?" Zoe spat.
"Be nice," Jon admonished. "She's a guest."
Sarah just smirked in satisfaction as she walked past the younger teenager, who likely had no idea that she was now carrying herself identically to how Sarah would. By the wish's standards, apparently, Jon was now girlier than his own little sister.
Sarah couldn't wait to see what Jon and his family would look like tomorrow.
