"Come on, Jenny. What the fuck are you waiting for? Let's get to the club like you wanted," Nadine said, impatiently.
"Hold on. I've got something to show you," Jenny said, before turning around and going back inside her house. Athena and Nadine exchanged confused expressions. Out of all of them, Jenny was the one who wanted to go to The Spiked Pit the most, so what could be so important to cause them to delay their plans? A moment later, she came back out. "I already showed Alyssa after school with, well, some complications. But since you two are my closest friends, I wanted you to see it too," she said, before opening her hand and revealing the wishing stone to them.
As it turned out, Athena's pendant had done more than just shielded her from swapping with Jon. When Jon swapped with Sabrina, he not only changed from male to female, but it somehow removed her awareness of the changes in reality. She now thought that she was normally supposed to be this way - a Goth punk girl. But no matter how different she was herself in this new reality, she still inherited the wishing stone from her grandfather. And now, she was allowing Nadine and Athena to know about it, and maybe even use it, like she had with her out-and-proud lesbian girlfriend Alyssa Wong, a fellow punk girl. After showing Alyssa the stone earlier that day, the Chinese American girl had used it in a similar way to how Karyn had used it, causing herself to (apparently) permanently change in some physical way. Speaking of Karyn ... she was no longer associated with Jenny, her family, or any of her friends. The changes caused by Karyn's wish still remained, but she no longer remembered the stone and thought that she was normally supposed to have blonde hair and D-cup boobs. Another change that happened to Jon/Jenny was that she was now bisexual, maybe having something to do with the gender change.
"A fucking stone?" Nadine asked. "That's what you wanted to show us?"
"It's more than a stone. It can grant wishes," Jenny said. She could see that Nadine was skeptical, whereas Athena was intrigued. "Here, let me show you. I wish ..."
