Monday night at the Lyons house.

Sophie was mad at the fact that her daughter had lied to her. She knew that this was probably not the only time that she had done this but this time she had been caught.

She could not outwardly be seen to punish her at the moment as if she did then Tina would tell her friends and that would mean that Melissa would be unable to carry out the punishment she had in mind. Just as she got in her sister called her. “Sadie, how are you?” Sophie asked her sister. “Better than you sis by the sounds of it,” Sadie replied to her sister. “What’s wrong you know that you can tell me anything?” With that Sophie told her sister everything about the events of the day so far.

Once she had listened to her sister Sadie burst out laughing. “I am sorry Sophie I know it's something you need to deal with but just think about it. A boy has spent the whole day at your school walking around wearing a girls’ uniform just to prove that men have it worse than women. I wonder what he thinks now?”

A second later Sophie started laughing as well. “I have a way of punishing Tina for you if you want to hear it,” Sadie announced to her sister. “What is your idea?” Sophie asked. “Well, Tina loves spending time with her friends at the weekends, right? So why don’t we get her to work with me in the shop to cut back on her social life? We can make it sound like she is helping me her “Favourite Aunt” at a busy time. That should keep her out of trouble. What do you think?”

“Sounds good to me.” And with that, the two sisters spent the next hour or so catching up and laughing. That was the way that Tina found her Mom when she came down from her room to see what was for tea that night.
