"I guess the narrator enjoys it when you try, unsuccessfully, to fight back." Karyn correctly noted. "Don't worry," she whispered in his ear. "You usually enjoy this by the end. I wish..."

Karyn paused, "I'm not turning you into a girl, Jon"

"Wait, what?" said Jon, confused.

"There's a new narrator" replied Karyn, "And it seems he doesn't want you to be a girl right now"

Jon was in a great deal of discomfort, still being paralyzed and crumpled up on the floor.

"Oh crap, sorry Jon, you can move again." said Karyn. "The new narrator only just remembered you were down there."

"Well at least he did remember." grumbled Jon, "Don't think I could've taken much more of that."

"Jon, how long do you think it's been since you showed me the stone this morning?" said Karyn.

"I don't know, like five hours?" shrugged Jon. "Why's this important."

"Well this is going to freak you out." smiled Karyn, "Its been fifteen years, five and a half months. Or thereabouts."

"What?!" exclaimed Jon.

"It's pretty inconsistent, for example, how long were you paralyzed just now?" Karyn pointed out.

"Uh.. maybe twenty seconds?" stuttered Jon.

Karyn imitated a game-show buzzer sound. "Nope. Try six years, four months."

"What?!" Screamed Jon.

"Calm down, Jon. Don't need to wear out the bold italics." chuckled Karyn. "Also, don't get mad at this narrator, he's only been writing these stories for just over two months."

"So they just write parts of stories, and add to others stories, but they're always about me. And it could be months, even years between a new paragraph." sighed Jon.

"Yeah, well, I could help you understand this narrator a bit, should help take your mind off the possibility this story could never be continued past this point."

"Why would you say that last bit?" said Jon, despair creeping into his voice again.

"How should I know?" shrugged Karyn, "The narrator wrote it, sitting there listening to classical music."

"Why did you add that about classical music?" Jon pointed out.

"Guess the narrator was probably plugging his playlist for some reason, no idea why, bet its not even that good." smiled Karyn smugly, crossing her arms.

"Why don't we just wish to have our free will back then?" said Jon, reaching for the stone.
