"Looking for someone?" Teresa huffed in annoyance.

"Huh?" Steve asked, turning to look at her. "Oh, on the way here, I accidentally sat down at the wrong table. This is the first time I've been to the club. All the tables look the same. Anyway, the guy that was sitting there was kinda cute. I was just wondering if I could spot him again."

Teresa stared at him. "Did you say he's cute?"

"Huh? Oh, I ... I guess I did. I just wanted to apologize to him, you know, for sitting at the wrong table. Man, you should have seen the look on his face when I leaned over to kiss him. The guy was pissed."

"You tried to kiss him?" she asked, not believing what she was hearing.

"Well, I thought he was you."

"Did he look like me?" she asked.

"Not really. But it's kind of dark in here." Steve turned and scanned the room again. Where was he? Maybe he had left the club? He supposed that could have been a possibility. But he hoped not. For some reason, he was hoping to run into him again. He felt like apologizing, but he never felt like apologizing this much before to someone he hardly knew, especially a guy.

Teresa looked at her date oddly. It looked like he was desperately trying to find this guy he accidentally met earlier. But why? And why did he refer to the guy as "cute"? Steve was pretty well known on campus. He didn't call other guys "cute", and if another guy called him "cute", he'd beat the crap out of him, calling the guy a faggot. So what the hell was up with him tonight?

"Steve ..."

He turned back towards her. "Huh?"

She began to get more irritated. For some reason, he was barely paying her any attention. It was like he was obsessed with finding that guy. "I think you should focus a little more on your date than some guy, don't you think?"

"Uh ... sure." He turned back to the crowd around them and that's when he spotted a guy walking past their table. He wasn't the guy he saw earlier, but he was about as muscular and he wore a T-shirt that exemplified his buff torso. Steve's gaze dropped to the backside of the guy's jeans. And that's when Steve smirked and said to the guy "Nice ass."

The guy spun around and glared at him. "Fag," he said, then turned back around and continued walking across the room.

That woke Steve up, at least for the moment.

"Seriously, what is wrong with you? Did you just compliment that guy's butt?"

That's exactly what Steve did. As he watched the guy walking away, his eyes were still on the guy's ass ... his round cute ass. His round ... sexy ass? What was wrong with him?

"I ... I guess I did. But the guy is pretty hunky. It's not like I'm insulting him or something."

"Did you just call him hunky?"

Did he? He supposed he did.

After a moment of awkward silence, Teresa said "I don't think this is working."

"Huh?" Steve looked back at her. He had found his gaze returning to the guy with the nice ass.

"I think I'm going to leave now," she said.

"Oh, okay," he said plainly.

She stared at him, then left in a huff. He didn't even argue to get her to stay.

Steve knew that he had made a mistake. Since coming to college, he tried whatever he could to get Teresa to date him. And then when he finally got her where he wanted her ... he let her go? Because of what? A guy?

His eyes drifted back over to the "guy" in question. The guy who had passed by their table earlier. The guy was currently flirting with a girl. Then he watched as they kissed. Steve's heart sank suddenly. He's taken. He blinked at that thought. But then his mind turned back towards the man's ass. As Steve sat there, he imagined what the guy's ass looked like naked and what it would feel like if he put his hands on it. His cock jumped at the thought of it.

Then shock filled his eyes. Why the hell was he thinking of stuff like that? He wasn't some fag. He turned away and looked down at his drink, which had barely been drunk. He took a sip, wondering what he was going to do, now that Teresa was gone. Should he stay at the club, or just head back to his dorm?
