"...give me and you the power of invisibility."

"What?!" Jim couldn't believe what he was seeing and hearing. He was more than a little overwhelmed by the whole situation and yet his skepticism was still present even after seeing the little man. "Like Invisible Woman invisible?"

"Yeah, all leprechauns know how to make themselves invisible. How do you think they've kept their existence a secret for so long? Hell, this little guy pulled that trick on me more than once when I was trying to catch him." Rick grinned as he teased the captive leprechaun with his finger. "Ultimately of course, it didn't do him much good. But I'm pretty sure that you and me can put that power to better use than he can. Just imagine being able to go anywhere whenever we want to without having to worry about being caught. We could actually pull off the greatest senior prank ever with that kind of power."

"Or get a voyeurs eyefull of the cheerleaders undressing in the locker room," responded Jim with more than just a hint of sarcasm. "No wonder you're so excited about this."

"Hey, that was your idea, not mine."

The leprechaun banged against the laundry basket and demanded to be let out so that it could perform the enchantment on Rick and Jim. Rick refused to let him out until they had the power to make themselves invisible. The little man gave the two young boys a dirty look, closed his eyes and then threw a huge cloud of dust at them. The gritty particles were instantly attracted to the startled Rick and Jim like metal shavings to a magnet. The dust struck them both and was immediately aborbed into their bodies, leaving no trace behind once it entered their bodies.

Rick opened his eyes and inspected himself. His body looked normal but he felt different somehow. "Is that it? Can we make ourselves invisible now," asked Rick whose voice was dripping with excitement.

"You could of given us a warning," said Jim. Seeing the animated cloud of dust
blow into him would of cured him of a bad case of hiccups. He instinctively brushed himself off even though there wasn't even a speck of dust on him.

"Yes, you both can make yourselves invisible now and no, I refuse to give out warnings to whiny little cunts that are holding me hostage! Now let me out!"
The little man banged his head ferocioulsy against the basket to emphasize his point. Jim was greatly worried that captivity was driving the magical creature
insane and felt more than a little guilty to be an accessory to his incarceration.

"Wait, before I let you out I want you to tell us how our power works," demanded Rick. "Give us a quick tutorial and we'll let you out."

The little man stopped banging his head against the plastic container and looked up to Rick, revealing red marks and small cuts on his forehead.

"You just close your eyes and concentrate on blending in with your surroundings. You'll feel a shiver go through your body whenever you become invisible, then no one in the area will be able to see you or will know that you are there. IS THAT FUCKING EASY ENOUGH FOR YA?"

"Yes it is fucking easy enough for us," answered Rick. He was starting to lose his temper with the little man's insults. "Do we just close our eyes and concentrate to become visible again?"

"YES!! BUT YOU CAN'T BECOME VISIBLE AGAIN WHEN SOMEONE IS LOOKING AT YOU OR IF BECOMING VISIBLE AGAIN WILL ALERT THEM TO YOUR PRESENCE!! YOU HAVE TO CHANGE BACK WHEN YOU ARE ALL BY YOURSELF AND NOBODY ELSE IS AROUND FOR A FEW YARDS! THAT'S ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW! OUT! OUT! OUT! OUT!"

Rick lifted the cinder block up and raised the basket to let the man out.
In a blur of green and red the leprechaun ran out of the room and through one of the panes of glass of Rick's window.

"Shit," yelled Rick as he ran over to the window. "That little fucker broke my window!"

"At least he's gone," said a relieved Jim. "He was going really crazy their for a second. I was actually a little worried about him."

"Don't be so naive, Jim. That was all just an act so that he could get out of the deal." Rick walked away from the broken window, content that he could tell his mom that some neighborhood kid did it by throwing rocks at the house.
"But forget him, we can make ourselves invisible now."

Jim may not have liked how he attained this new power, but despite the indifference he portrayed earlier he was more than a little excited about the possibilities that such a power would unlock.

"Yeah," said Rick trying to sound non-chalant about it. "I have an idea on how I'm going to test this power out."
