Jim looked at the license, and saw the name Jim on it. Great, he thought. She went to give it to the policeman when she remembered that it wasn't really hers. Thinking quickly about further distraction, she tucked it into one of the cups of her top.

The cop asked her why she wasn't giving it to him, she said, "I'm sorry, Mr Officer Doyle, sir, but somehow my brother's license got in here giggle. I hope he wasn't playing a prank on me, 'cause if so, the joke's toootally on me. Let me see if I can find mine in here." After a minute, she couldn't even pretend anymore that it might still be there.

Seeing that, the officer instructed her, "Alright, Miss, hand me your brother's license. And what's your name?"

"giggle Kim," she answered, handing over the license.

With rather-too-long a look down at where she had grabbed the license, he walked back to the patrol car.

After several minutes, including getting on the CB more than once, he walked back and handed her the license. "Ok, Miss, something very strange is going on. Somehow, the records in our system for both you, and your brother, are screwed up. I'm going to assume that you had nothing to do with it..."

"Gosh, officer, giggle I wouldn't know how to begin to do that," Jim interjected.

"I can see that. I'm going to let you off with a warning, this time, but don't let me see you driving that fast again." With that admonition, he returned to his car, got in, and made an immediate U-turn to leave. The horns of a couple of cars, narrowly missed, greeted this exit.

Seeing that, Rebecca said, "I can't believe you got away with that. Let's get home before he changes his mind!"

Continuing his earlier charade, Jim responded, "giggle Totally!" Switching back to a normal voice, she continued, "I wish I knew what he meant about the records being screwed up, though."

Sobering up after laughing at her joke, Rebecca responded, "It means you better get that spell reversed quickly."
