The Karyn that had passed out on her mom's floor was your average teenage girl, but with blond hair and large boobs, but exceedingly average. You would not notice her if she sat next to you on the bus and started talking to you.
The Karyn that woke up on the table was Karyn if she had been cast to play herself in a CW show. It was Karyn perfected, Karyn beautified, but this wasn't just a make over, this was something else.
The old Karyn was just coming out of the awkward phase of being a teenager, she might have had a couple more months of that, and then who knows maybe a year before she really figured it all out and started looking like a person. She was 5'5", a size 6, she still had some baby fat around her face, and before the wish, reddish brown hair and brown eyes. Normal face, normal body, soft, if a bit nasally voice and a body like a square, which when she made the wish for boobs and hair, was just that thing with those things pasted on it. None of it fit.
The new Karyn had strawberry blond hair, a bit of the red had returned, but just enough to make her now Hazel eyes pop. it was as if her brown eyes had been washed in sea foam and had come out stained with greens and specks of blue, with the brown still holding court in the center, this was only more noticeable because not only had her eye sight improved, her eyes were now 3 millimeters bigger than they had been, for you will find that beauty is a game of exacting detail and small things can matter. Her nose had first off, lost all traces of the scar from when she failed at giving herself a nose ring, but also changed slightly. The baby fat was gone, and had revealed a jawline and cheekbones which gave her face a regal manner and made it seem like her eyes sat on a throne in her face, while also drawing attention to naturally pink lips. She had looked 15 going on 14, now she had a face which would get her into a college party no questions asked (except for her number). Yet it still looked like her face.
Her body was a whole other story. She was still 5'5" though she was due to grow a little now, but now her body fit her breasts, having recomposed itself into a 36D,25, 34 hourglass, but more than that she was lean. This was in part because of her ordeal, but also something her metabolism would not allow her to lose, it was as if her body had used all her fat and other parts to make what she now was, and all that remained was smooth skin and sleek curves. Her legs were long, and her hips had widened so that she couldn't help but walk with a sway. Her clothes hung on her body now like she had been draped in a flag. And let me be clear, her body was now perfect, proportioned exactly as one would hope a body would be, but also without a mole or freckle that didn't seem like it was supposed to be exactly in the place it was. The crazy thing was her breasts had actually shrunk a little in all this, but had gotten firmer, and rounder and now began and ended in the exact way you would hope they would.
There were many shocks of course, the fact that any of this had happened was a medical impossibility, and yet, when Karyn saw her new face in the mirror, she wasn't shocked or horrified or even amazed, she immediately accepted it, and was heard to say that seeing herself in a mirror is now a great relief, because she can't imagine being anything else than what she now was, and what she now was, was a beauty.
