Meanwhile, Jon was still at home. Having found his phone, he was on his way down the stairs, when suddenly the house began to change. Certain rooms seemed to get bigger and were better furnished, taking on a more expensive feel. Had a change already happened? He supposed that since he heard his own wish, he'd notice changes happening. But who had changed? He figured that since the house had changed, it was probably his mom. But who did she swap with?
Jon grabbed the knob of the front door and pulled it open, then walked straight into the person who was about to ring the doorbell. He was startled ... then felt dizzy. But why? He began to panic as he realized that he forgot to exclude himself from his wish. He was swapping "roles" with the person at the door!
