Ok, that was weird. I normally use a Firefox-based browser here. For a change I tried a Chromium-based browser, and things look better - but it was weird. When I first loaded a page, it looked the same as in the FF browser, but after a very short - but easily noticeable - bit of time the browser re-rendered the page with the correct blank lines. Weird.

Thanks for the suggestions, but no luck. Javascript is enabled and clearing the fictionbranches.net cookies had no effect.

To wit, my post was composed with and should have had a blank line between the two sentences...
