I am the original author, although I lost my original account a long time back. Nevertheless, I've collected all the segments together with edits to mesh more smoothly. I've changed the character names and finished the story.
It is now an E-Book titled "Shrink Racked"
by Jaime Sparkz
The book is published and available for FREE and can be found at https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/1090540
Or you can google for it.
I went this route to obtain a public copyright and ISBN. I have no intention of making money off of it, I just wanted to try to prevent others from ripping it off and selling it as their own, I've had that happen before.
I hope you enjoy it!
I have another E-book in the works. It could be awhile but it's looking to be about twice the size of this one. "Smashwords" has merged with another bigger service and I've yet to figure out if I can do FREE publishing through the merged entity.
Later!
I started learning to write early days as Xyzzy then Xyzzy2 when I lost the account. Looking back some of it is quite cringe worthy. I have 3 old stories on Fictionmania (Virtual Vacation, Virtual Vacation 2, and The Inheritance). The first of which I didn't even understand starting a new paragraph for a speaker change.
I gathered together one of my long sequences of Altered Fates branches and reformatted and completed it as a short novel and e-book experiment. It's available as a free e-book from Smashwords: "Shrink Racked" by Jaime Sparkz.
Currently I'm working on another e-book and I'm in the worst stage for me, the wrap up. So far I'm around 160 pages. Maybe by year end?
At any rate, feel free to jump in anywhere!
Thanks! See forum

I tried to delete and re-enter the comment to fix the typo (Fo vs Go), but got a: "javax.persistence.PersistenceException: org.hibernate.exception.ConstraintViolationException: could not execute statement"

Don't be concerned about adding to existing stories. The branch you create is entirely independent. It doesn't commit to a direction or theme and can be followed or not at whim. The same is true for branches that may be added to yours. Fo for it!

Excellent back-to-back posts!

I like the premise and quality of writing, Well done!

I just saw this branch. It seems like it should be in the "Drafting Board".
Nevertheless I like the premise and quality of writing, Well done!
I particularly like a storyline that allows for leveraging of restrictions.
