In my defence, i did write this episode a long time ago, i wasn't as good a writer as i am now, i'd change a fair few things given the chance if i was to revisit this story, but the real issue is, is it appropriate to pretend something never happened or leave it up as a learning experience?

Practically speaking if memory serves, I was trying to make Karyn the snarky friend closer to a Willow/Buffy type than actively malicious, but obviously didn't convey it very well back then.

I'm trying to rationalize how the clothes sizes changed in this wish compard to previous chapters when Jon ended up with mis-sized clothes. The only reasoning i can come up with is that in the case of Karyn's bikini, it's a bikini and has adjustable straps (Jon's tshirt was not accommodating his new breasts).

In the case of Mickey and Linda, I was just too lazy to repeat myself again by making a 2nd swap wish for clothes sizes, so perhaps the fact that neither of the two were aware of the swap is the reason that the clothes sizes are right. If neither knew any difference in size, then they would have naturally grown up and bought those sizes that approriately fit their body all their lives. But i could change that. Who knows. It's an interactive :)

Have to admit, I was a little bored with this episode myself. Trying to force myself to write shorter ones so they don't feel like novels.

I always intended to continue it, looking back on this one now, a lot of what i wrote was flat out embarrassing in that I could write it so much better, but I appreciate the sentiment.

One day i'll finish the story.

It's been discussed, the original site design limited the number of "parent" stories deliberately to avoid Writing.com style plagues of a large number of interactives with only one or two episodes. The idea we were working on was large interactives that eventually took off would be promoted to root level wtih YAWYW, FOG and AF.

We just don't want the site overloaded with junk content either.

AS for ANFCD, at the moment the site is still being developed, the ability to "promote" stories is being worked on still.

Just throwing it out there. Jon and Karyn could have forgotten to fix reality, they may have been so focused on getting the mess undone that they didn't realize the original wsih made it so that Karyn doesn't have parents anymore (why would a penis have one)?

The wish was pretty simple, "I wish Karyn was my penis", so thus her family wouldn't know of her as a daughter, she wouldn't have a room, etc...
