Jon looked down and saw that he had dropped the bracelet. He scanned the floor for it, then spotted it. But before he could get to it, someone else picked it up. It was Jon's sister Zoe.
Without even thinking about it, she slipped it on her wrist.
Karyn was shocked. But Jon didn't know why. As far as he knew, the bracelet didn't do anything. It was just a piece of jewelry.
