Sarah didn't know anything about the magical properties of the bracelet. But she did what she would do when she could get away with it, and claimed the bracelet as her own. "It's my bracelet!" she said.
Which of course immediately became the truth. "Of course, it's your bracelet," said Jon.
"Yeah," said Karyn. "Too bad we didn't get a chance to get that bracelet away from her before she bought it."
Karyn, now believing the bracelet was Sarah's but still worried enough about what Sarah might do with it, tried to grab Sarah's arm, but Sarah, who was a cheerleader and quite agile, easily dodged. Realizing what was going on, syhe said "Oh, neither of you mind that I have this bracelet."
"Well, yes," said Karyn. "It would be wrong to steal it from you."
Hmm, thought Sarah. A bracelet which makes anything you say become the truth. It was like having an infinite supply of wishes, except that it was a lot easier to make things happen by accident. She thought a moment and said....
