Behind him Karen giggled as Jon groaned at the horrible pun.
" I see your girlfriend isn't afraid of a little PUN ishment"

"and we're just friends" Karen added, a little too hastily for Jon's liking.
The shopkeeper just smiled, a bit sad at how these two seemed so right and destiny just seemed to work against them.
"I know just the thing if you're looking for costumes"
"oh? nothing with funny ears I hope" Jon muttered under his breath.

"It's not that bad Jon, don't have such a stick up your butt" Karen said as she leaned over the counter to get a closer look.
The shopkeeper pulled out 2 packages that contained a strangely familiar cameo necklace in each, and some sort of black, filmy, satiny cloth.
"watch this" he said as he touched the cameo and said "french maid"
Instantly the cloth inside changed form. The shopkeeper opened it up to show a black dress, a small frilly dustcap, white apron, fishnet stockings, lace gloves, and black high heels.
"hu, how, How is that possible?" jon and Karen stated, almost identically.
" It's a cutting edge memory nanotechnology for fabric" lied the wizard. I'll let you borrow it for Halloween if you.......
