Queke, after working at the computer for several hours, knew she was close to cracking it. She kept going over the same code but she was stuck for the moment. She knew that all she needed was a rest and then the breakthrough would come. "Rodger, tell me what you know about Harker again."
"Sure, but some of this story may be wrong because some of it comes from Harker and his view of reality wasn't completly sane." Rodger retold the tale.
After Harker was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment on the Edifice the authorities made a deal with the Devil. In exchange for him being allowed to continue his "Hobby" as he called it, he would in exchange continue his research and his discoveries would become the property of the goverment. The deal called for "victims" to be sent to Harker for his enjoyment, and since the victims were criminals, their rights were not considered. He demanded only beautifull women be sent to him. Cindy was the first.
Cindy accepted her fate and did not resist Harker's advances. Next came Carmen and she did resist, that's when Harker invented those damn collars. Carmen could do nothing to stop Harker when a collar was around her neck. Incidentally those collars can do a lot more than just make you passive, the passive setting is just the default. A collar can be removed by anyone, except the person wearing it. That necklace around your neck can only be removed by Harker, I'm not sure what it does, but you're body is the only one that has it.
Anyways, Harker then invented his transference device; he never shared that particular invention with the authorities. I imagine he realised having sex with a willing participant like Cindy didn't interest him and what could be more unwilling than a man in a woman's body. He requested his next two victims be men, and I was next.
I had an experience similar to yours Queke. When I got here I was greeted by a beautiful red head with a gun. I later found out it was Harker in Carmen's body. When I awoke I was in Carmen's body with a collar on. The next few weeks were spent in either Cindy's or Carmen's body at the disposal of Harker, who now stayed in my body.
Zane came next and received the same treatment. Next came Sarah, whose body both Zane and I became well acquainted with from the inside.
Harker thought he had come up with an idea to get out. He put Cindy in his old body. He then opperated on his old body changing his facial appearance. He even changed eye colour. Once he was done I would never have recognized his old body.
Cindy was forced into the corridor. A robot approached him and scanned his face with some sort of light beam. The security robot disintegrated him. Harker wasn't to shook up he said, "Oh well, things aren't so bad here I guess."
After a few weeks Nancy arrived and a week after that you showed up.
Rodger finished, "End of story. Now, how long until you have that contraption figured out so that you can return me to my original body?"
"I should have it soon" Queke told him, but Queke was thinking that if he returned everyone to their original body he would still be in a woman's body, Cindy's body since she was now dead. She looked at Cindy's old body, now inhabited by Nancy. At least the brunette was taller than her present body, maybe 5' 10" and although it had quite large breasts they were still smaller than the ones she presently possesed. She had to get off the Edifice and track down her old body but could she let these criminals out as well? "What did you guys do to get sentenced to the Edifice?"
Little did Queke know, but her old body had already been destroyed.
*Meanwhile on Bart the Black's ship:
"We are now within weapons range Master" the helmsman dutifully told Bart.
"Hmmm, curious, he hasn't altered his course and we continue to close. Is he asleep over there or is he to busy enjoying that delectable Bella?" Bart mused. "Target his engines." Bart knew that if he disabled Biff's engines his weapons would be without power. Easy prey.
"Blaster locked on target Master."
This is to easy thought Bart, was Biff up to something? Well, he could always run, after all he would still have engines. "Fire!"*
**Harker told Biff "I will have to show you how hopeless the situation is for you." Harker pressed a button on his device and Biff felt herself go completely limp. "You won't be needing those clothes." Harker laughed maniacally and removed every piece of clothing Biff had on. Harker stepped back and pressed a button on his device and Biff once more had control of her body.
"Stand up" Harker commanded. Biff shakily got to her feet trying to cover parts of her anatomy that she never had to cover before. "Very good, I think you've earned a reward." Harker was about to press another button on his device when Bart's blaster hit Biff's ship. Harker and Biff were both thrown to the deck.**
