After a shower, and putting her tight top and short skirt back on, Joan grabbed her purse and bookbag, and headed out of school to go home.
As she got outside, she saw Karyn still waiting for her, and said, "I'm sorry, I forgot you were waiting for me. I would have hurried more."
Karyn responded, "That's ok. I knew you would be pretty beat, so I figured you'd be a while. I still don't know how you managed that while wearing such tight clothes, though."
"I wish I'd had a choice in the matter. It wasn't comfortable."
"What do you mean? You always wear stuff like that. I don't know how you breathe," said Karyn.
"No, I had a bit of unrequested help with my wardrobe (and other things) in gym this morning."
"Gym? I thought you had gym tomorrow."
"Well, that's how my schedule ended up after Nicole got her hands on the stone in gym. First she wished that I'd have to wear skirts, makeup, and tight clothes; then she changed me into a girl. Finally, to keep from having Coach take the stone away forever, I wished myself out of gym class, and ended up in Home Ec. Then Mrs Miller ended up with the stone for a minute, and accidentally wished that the pregnancy suit would put us through a truly simulated pregnancy. Since she didn't realize it, and made the wish, she was surprised when she saw that it looked like a true pregnancy, instead of just having a weight on my front. So she tried to find out what happened, but I was able to bluff her about the stone, since I knew everyone else would remember it as it is. So when she went next door to ask another teacher about the pregnancy vest, I was able to get the stone back and wish it home. So now you see that I've got a few long-term problems to try to fix."
"Wow, that's quite a day, Joan. You really used to be a guy? No wonder you seemed so morose earlier."
By this point, they'd reached Joan's house, where her mom met them at the door. "Well, dear, how did your 'pregnancy' go today?"
"It was awful, mom. Even though I was waddling around with that, I still got a detention from Mrs Miller for standing up when she left the classroom for a minute. If I never have to do that again, it'll be too soon. It should be outlawed as cruel and unusual punishment."
"Now you have some idea what it's like, at least. Just keep it in mind when you're around cute boys. For now, why don't you and Karyn go upstairs and relax for a bit."
