"I wish that tryouts to be a contestant on American Idol were being held today after school in the auditorium. I wish that Joan was a great singer with a beautiful voice as well as a great dancer capable of performing any dance routine. I wish that Joan would tryout this afternoon no matter what and that she would see it through to the end if she became a contestant. I wish that Joan would know what I just wished for and that she would recognize all of the changes I just made to reality." With her wish done, Joan put the wishing stone back into her backpack and zipped it up.
"This is just beautiful," thought Nicole. "I know that I was going to wish for something that Joan would love 100%, but I couldn't help putting a little dig at her in my wish. Joan hates American Idol sssoooooo much, she constantly goes on about how all of the contestants are talentless hacks and how everybody who watches it gets stupider by the minute. I wonder if she'll feel the same way about it when she is a contestant."
On the other side of the locker room Joan was taking off her sweaty gym clothes (and secretly eyeing all the bare flesh around her) when she suddenly felt a tingle in her vocal cords and a strange sense of "rhythm" flow through her body. In response she gasped and let out a "what the hell" in a hushed tone, only to hear that her voice had taken on a "smooth as silk" quality. Her body felt more responsive, being much easier to coordinate her movements with one another, and as for her movements, they seemed much more graceful than ever before.
Joan looked around to see that Nicole was staring at her with a sly grin on her face. Joan wondered what she was smiling at when her brain was suddenly bombarded with the details of the wishes that Nicole just made.
Nicole looked upon Joan as the realization of what happened to her took effect. Nicole's smile grew into a chuckle as Joan shot her a "what the hell were you thinkng" look. Nicole casually strolled over to Joan and whispered, "Look on the bright side. At least you're going to be on TV." She then walked back over to her locker and continued to undress herself.
