Biff peeled his eyes away from the mirror when he heard a familiar tone. It was the ringtone that his girlfriend Sarah had set on her phone. Then that must mean…
Biff groaned when he followed the sound and found his phone in the midst of the pink sheets that now covered his bed. Instead of the 3-year-old iPhone with a generic black case, he found what looked to be the latest version in a rose gold case. The very same phone that Sarah used.
Sighing, Biff picked it up. The screen was showing the caller id as Steve, Biff’s best friend. He swiped to answer it.
“Hey man.” Biff said “Now’s not really a good time.”
“Dude!” Steve replied ignoring what Biff had just said. “You’ll never guess what’s happened. All my stuff has been replaced with Tiffany’s.”
Biff paused for a moment before realising that the same thing that had happened to him must have happened to Steve.
“Wait, you too?” He asked. Biff briefly imagined Steve wearing one of Tiffany’s sexier outfits, one that usually made him stare causing Sarah to get cross, before he quickly shook the image out of his head.
“Are you saying that your stuff has been swapped too?” Biff nodded before realising that he was on the phone.
“Yeah.” Biff replied. “With Sarah’s stuff. I’m currently wearing one of her nighties.” Biff told his friend blushing a little.
“If this wasn’t affecting me too I’d be laughing.” Steve replied truthfully. Although Biff thought that he could hear giggling in the background.
“Is Tiffany there with you?” Biff asked remembering that Steve had said that he had plans with her the night before.
“Uh-huh. I’m guessing that all of my stuff is at her place now.” Steve pondered.
“How did this all happen?” Biff asked as he paced around the room inwardly enjoying the soft feeling of his new carpet on his toes. “Someone must have come in here during the night and drugged me or something because I didn’t notice anything.”
“But then, how do you explain the tattoos?” Steve asked.
“Tattoos?”
“Yeah, Tiffany now has my tattoos and I apparently have my ears pierced.”
Biff hadn’t spotted that. He rushed back to the mirror and sure enough, there were two holes in his ears right where Sarah would normally wear her earrings.
“Shit. Me too.” Biff told Steve.
“Man, this is so weird.” Steve said. “I wonder if anyone else is affected.”
“Huh, I didn’t think about that.” Biff said. He had been to busy focused on himself that he didn’t even think about his family. “Let me go and check.”
