Suddenly, Sarah heard knocking on her door. Obviously, her scream was heard. That was probably her mother, coming to see what was wrong. But it wasn't her. It confused Sarah to instead hear her father (Richard) talking through the door to her, talking in a peculiar way.
"Sarah, honey, are you okay?" Richard asked through the door.
Grabbing a T-shirt she found on the floor (man, this place was like a pigsty!), she held it up over her chest, then answered the door.
"What was all that yelling about?" Richard asked.
Sarah could only stare at him. Her father - Richard McMillan, CEO of his own company - stood there, wearing a woman's nightie and robe (tailored to fit his body), his hair long and curly. In fact, the clothing, the hair ... it looked similar to what her mom (Susan) had. She could even see faded make-up on her father's face. What the hell was happening?!
"Sarah? Are you okay, dear?" Richard asked, his voice still his own, but effeminate-sounding.

After waking up, Jon immediately got a call from Karyn.
"Hi, Karyn," he said, with a sigh.
"Have you thought of a way to fix your wish from last night?" she asked.
"No, sorry. I only meant to switch Biff and Sarah. I didn't mean to ..."
"Yeah, I know. I was there, remember. It's ... it's just weird to be living like this ... like a boy, but not. If I wasn't in the presence of the stone when you made that wish, I'd think all of this was normal, just like everyone else, right?"
"Uh huh," Jon said. "I haven't even seen what my family is like now."
"I have. It's so weird seeing my dad dressing and acting like my mom, and my mom dressing and behaving like my dad, and all that."
Jon sighed. He felt so bad after making that stupid wish last night. He just wanted to get back at Biff and Sarah for being major jerks, but he had inadvertently changed everyone in town, making them swap gender roles. And because of the way he worded the wish, he wasn't sure if he could figure out a way to fix things. Jon and Karyn, and Biff and Sarah, would be the only ones in town to notice that things were different.
"I'll see you at school. Maybe by then, I'll think of something," Jon said.
"It's going to be so weird," Karyn said.
"Tell me about it. But we can't just skip school. We should try to act as normal as possible until I find a way to fix this."
"Okay, see you there. Bye," Karyn said, then hung up.

Looking at some of the posters around his changed bedroom, Biff realized that they weren't guys in those bands. They were all girls, with short hair and wearing boy clothing. What the hell was going on?
