Nicole was walking down the hall, when all of a sudden she noticed the stone--just lying on the ground! Jon must have dropped it. It was strange, Jon had made such a fuss over the thing before, and now she just left it lying on the ground.
Which should have been the end of things. The rock hardly looked valuable and at most she would have just brought it to Jon. Except for one problem.
Nicole had told Jon that he was lucky to not wear girls' clothes without pockets. Then Nicole wished he knew how easy he had it.
But now that reality had changed so that Jon and Ashley had always had each other's bottom half, Jon would have been wearing a skirt at the time. If Jon was wearing a skirt, Nicole wouldn't have made that wish.
Instead, Nicole had remembered making a different wish. She had wished that Jon had the rock in a purse. Which magically appeared. So Jon was now carrying a purse, wondering exactly where it came from--but more importantly, this meant that Nicole now knew that the rock grants wishes.
Holding the stone, she said, "I wish...."
