Of course, they weren't able to figure anything out. The wand wasn't reversible, and the stone couldn't reverse the wand, either. So they were forced to use a temporary measure. Just before school, at school, Jon wished that reality change so that his lower half was like that, but that it would end if he ever managed to change back.
This kept Jon from having to stay out of school, but it wasn't an answer. But finally, at lunchtime, they came up with something that might be an answer.
"Remember that wish we made before?" asked Karyn. "The one about why some people remember?"
"Yeah," replied Jon. "About 5% of people remember. About 80% of those just live outside the wish radius so about 1% really are psychic or sensitive or something."
"We have 400 students in our school," said Karyn. "That's about 4 people. Maybe a few more or less since these aren't exact numbers. Do you think any of them can help you?"
"Maybe. It's always possible that they have some kind of magic or psychic power. I don't even know who most of them are. We could just see who thinks I'm weird, but they're probably hiding it anyway. I know!" Jon took out the stone and said "I wish I had a list of the people in the school who can tell that reality has changed."
The list magically appeared in front of him. The names on it included....
