To the best of Irving's knowledge, there was no editing option on the Fiction Branches... there was only one thing to do: get the stone and change the reality of the internet to include the editing option.
Getting the stone from Jon was actually rather easy... not surprising, if you realize how often this guy's misspoken himself, causing some amazingly weird transformation.
Irving simply walked up alongside Jon, who was walking to school along with Karen who was... four-breasted for some reason... tapped Jon on the shoulder and pointed out toward the horizon.
"Holy shit! It's the pope!"
Jon spun around. "WHERE?"
And "yoink!" Irving stole the stone.
Irving held the stone tightly... "I wish I could create-"
And suddenly Irving tripped partially on the sidewalk and mildly cursed...
"-man alive..."
And the rock fell out of his hands.
"Uh-oh..." said Irving as a tingle began in his hands and spread throughout his body... "I just wished I could create man alive..."
What can create a man alive?
