Jon stood there, glued to the spot, in shock from what he had inadvertantly done. Jon was wearing Paige's clothes, and noone would think anything was wrong with it. Before Jon could jumpstart his brain and think of what to do, he was startled by a voice.
"Jon!" His friend Karen said as she ran over. "Jon, there you are, I've been looking for you all day!" Jon spun around to face Karen, thinking she'd notice his change and have something to say, but she said nothing, aside from a brief look and compliment on his outfit.
"You... you don't see anything wrong with what I'm wearing Karen?" he asked almost too scared she'd catch on and he'd be the laughing stock of the school.
"No, Jon, you look fine, I love that shirt too." Karen said with a smile. Jon let out a deep sigh and realized that the magic held true and everyone thought everything was normal. "Jon did you bring the stone?" she asked with a sly smile.
"Um, no Karen, I actually left it at home. I didn't want us to make any dangerous wishes before we had thought long and hard about any... uh... consequences." he said. Karens smile slipped away for a second before comming back.
"Yeah, you're right Jon... Thats a good point, we'll spend lunch and free period thinking about how we can make safe wishes... and then when we get home after school, then we can use it... OK?" her eyes went wide in hope.
"Sure Karen." Jon said not wanting to upset her. And her smile grew wider and she gave him a huge hug.
"Great, come'on we don't wanna be late for class." Karen said brightly as she pulled Jon along with her, it was going to be an interesting day....
