"Well.... um...." I stammered. "I'm sure that there is some way we can still fix this..."
I carefully set the box with the stone down on the ground.
"To make sure we don't make any more accidential wishes" I explained. Karyn only scowled and fingered her new facial hair.
"Jon, we've got to fix this" wailed Karyn. "I don't want to go through life as an... uddered freak!".
I suddenly realized that she was probably very near to tears. And because of my wish... It was my responsibility to fix it then. There had to be a way... there had to...
"Hold on a minute, let's think here: We can't override any of the wishes we've already made... How can we work around them?"
"Can we wish for a way to turn me back?" Karyn asked? She was beginning to look hopefull at least. That was an improvement.
"We'd have to be very careful what we wished for, if we did that" I said. Let's talk it over before we try anything.
Twenty minutes later, we had a solution.
Silently hoping that this worked, I picked up the stone, and wished...
"I wish that I had a pill that when ingested, would remove any out of place features on Karyn, leaving her in a peferfectly normal, socially acceptable form."
There was a faitly audiable "pop", and a small orange pill appeared between us. I held it out to her.
