"Rather basic list of classes," said Alexis as she looked over the note. "And it doesn't even say what each on entails."
"It is pretty strange," agreed Jessica. "I mean four of them are studies but what kind of studies? For example is Ages studying age groups or periods of time?"
"Like it matters, they all sound like a waste of time," Brittany groaned and rolled her eyes. "What’s on page 2?"
"Umm, let's see," said Alexis as she flipped the page. "I can't make any of it, the letters are barely visible they're so light. They must have run out of ink when printing and not realized it."
"Terrific. And I still wish I had my phone."
"I think I'll try Clown Studies," Courtney thought aloud. "Or maybe Animal Breeding. I've never had much to do with either."
"Weight or Clown for me, I guess," said Mia. "I wasn't bad at math, and clowns do have to be physical which I am."
"Weight, same reason as Mia” sighed Amber. “Though I am going to ask the Dean for another copy of the page 2. Some more options would nice, especially something at least music related.”
“Well I do have experience with animals,” exclaimed Jessica. “But race history is interesting as well.”
“I’m not sure myself,” said Alexis. “Age, Weight or Race I could likely do well in already. That said I do like to challenge myself.”
“Brittany?”
“Don’t know, don’t care,” as she crossed her arms. “I’ll decide tomorrow.”
The next morning was a bit of a mess. Six ladies waking up in a large house they were unfamiliar with, not quite enough bathrooms and kitchen that not everyone was used to sharing meant there was some friction. It was forgiven though once everyone got their turn and some coffee.
Uniforms on they headed out chatting, or in Brittany’s case complaining, about their chosen class as they walked to the main building. As they went they also noted other groups emerged from the other sororities. And even the steady stream coming from the two tall dorms that flanked the main building.
The six also took in Camwell University as the rising sun highlighted the massive structure. Most universities were composed of several large buildings laid out across the campus. Camwell went the other way, looking like football stadium composed of office buildings and covering just as much space. Windows glinted in the sunlight, ivy, flowers, and trees grew along the stone walls around the base. While the metal and glass of the upper floors gave it a futuristic feel.
Entering through tinted glass double doors the inside of the university turned out to be quite nice. Polished white tile floor, elegant pictures of landscape and classical scenes covered the walls, and there were plenty of signs pointing where the different parts of university were. Still they all did quietly admit the rather wide hallways, high ceilings, and the abundance of vending machines offering everything from food to clothing and more was kind of off putting.
Slowly they split up for their chosen class. Courtney turned into Entertainment for Clown Studies. Mia and Amber left for Weight in Measurements. Jessica was next going into Biology for Animal Breeding. Leaving Alexis and Brittany to go to Style where Age apparently was.
