"I wish I knew why my boobs are still filling up with rootbeer!" Karyn was almost hysterical as she said this to the stone in the privacy of Karyn's room, but she still managed to be quiet enough not to be overheard outside that same room.
For a moment, Jon couldn't look at her, and then when he could again, she had a glazed look in her eyes. After another moment, she seemed to be looking around a bit more, and then suddenly she started to cry.
"What? What's wrong?" Jon was kind of worried if the answer was enough to make her cry. Although, she was pregnant, even if only falsly, so the hormones were probably waging war with her emotions... weren't they? Jon just decided to take as much of it in stride as he could.
"It's permenant, too..."
"What? How!? What happened?"
"I, it... the disease... it changed my DNA." She frowned, "And because of that first stupid wish for bigger breasts, my boobs will always be trying to get back to that size, and because of the disease, now they'll always be filling with rootbeer!"
"But I thought you said you beat the disease?"
"I beat it because it ran its course. The stone decided that that was the only way to keep it from affecting other people..." Karyn started to cry again, the reality and the... weirdness and awkwardness of her situation impacting her.
