Jon finally resorted to a wish both he and Karyn were fully rested. He didn't think that could hurt anything.
The next thing Jon knew was a knock on the door and a call to get up. He felt very rested, but was struggling to understand his surroundings. He was sat up from his position lying on the floor and looked around. It pretty much came back to him when he saw Karyn looking back at him.
"Morning.", he said to break the pause.
"Good morning, lover.", Karyn replied with a smirk on her face.
"Uhh. Not yet, it seems.", Jon managed to quip.
Karyn smiled and asked why Jon slept on the floor last night. Jon tells of his dilemma and adventure after she crashed last night. He sheepishly admits his stupid wish that they were fully rested. She chuckles, but points out that even if they haven't had a disaster yet, they really needed to be a lot more careful with the rock. They really shouldn't even carry it around. Jon has to agree she's probably right. They discuss where to keep it but can't think of anywhere much better than Karyn's room. She shows him a reasonably safe place in her bedroom to put the rock.
There was no more privacy available that morning, as Carol knocked on the door again and told them to hurry up and come down to breakfast. Things were not very organized that morning, and they barely made it out the door to get to school on time. Jon's clothes were still just a mite damp because he'd forgotten to restart the clothes washer last night, and the wash cycle had to be finished before they could be dried.
Jon's next chance to talk to Karyn was after school. She was looking a little annoyed at something.
"Hey, what's the problem?", Jon asked.
"Volleyball again.", Karyn scowled.
"So?", Jon queried.
After a brief pause Jon realized what Karyn meant and protested, "But you drained the rootbeer out yesterday."
"Yea, but it seems that my breasts are still slowly filling up with rootbeer. It didn't stop. It's nowhere near as bad as yesterday, but I thought we'd solved this problem."
"Uhh. What were the exact words of your wish?", Jon prompted.
"If I remember correctly, I ended up wishing that the reason my boobs got bigger was that they were slowly filled with just a little rootbeer.", Karyn answered.
"Hmm."
By the time they returned to Karyn's house, they had an answer.
"This is stupid but I think it'll work.", Karyn said as she touched the wish rock and read from the script they'd written out. "I wish that the reason my breasts were slowly filling with rootbeer was an mutant infection that I've finally fought off with no damage and that no one would be troubled by again."
"There. Now I just have to drain myself again.", Karyn said. Then she considered and continued, "Or, better yet, you can drain me, Jon."
Jon looked like a deer caught in the headlights.
"We're married now, Jon. Besides, I'll scratch your itch too."
Jon ended up very euphoric and sleepy. Karyn enjoyed herself too, but ended up with one breast drained while the other was somewhat swollen with angry rootbeer.
