Karyn and Jon, are running so fast, it's exhilarating, feeling the wind as like if they are on bikes. Their legs gives them a freedom they never knew, each leap giving them the sensation of flying, each yard covered are like driving the fastest cars. And Karyn is as fast as Jon, he get difficulties to go back to her and she finally win the run.
"I won..." She say just before using her password "Karashi back."
"You cheated..." Jon answer taking back is original form.
Karyn just smile, they aren't even out of breath and they just have run a mile in less than two minutes.
When they makes the last meters to school, they feel bad at how slow they are, being normal after that is so boring.
"Okay, I have to say, the idea of being superhumans is really fun. We will have to try our powers." Says Karyn.
"Yeah..." Jon just say, absent minded. Something is feeling wrong.
All the students are walking to the back of the school for some reason. So they follow them to understand what's happening... That's when they meet their nemesis, Sarah McMillan... But she don't look like Sarah, she seems slightly older and most of all in various of shade of gray-white.
"What the fuck ?!?" They says together.
Sarah is on a chair supported by two classmate of the football team, the closers students are bowing at her like she was a living godess.
"Okay, I don't know what's going on, but it's not good..." Says Karyn.
"You don't say... we have to do something." Jon says.
"Thank's captain obvious..."
They run to a quiet place and change to their super form. Then they run to Sarah...
Okay, in few years thinking back to that moment they wouldn't have do that, but there, with their inexperience and new powers they just run to the danger.
Sarah see them runing to her and don't like that... at all.
"Bow before me !" She yell to them.
Jon see Karyn stop right away her run and put a knees on the ground to bow in front of Sarah. By chance Jon is immune to that kind of mind control, thanks to his vampire blood. So he try to leap to Sarah, but a strong hand catch his shoulder and press him against the floor.
"Bow she said !" He hear with the voice of Karyn.
"Ka..." start to say Jon, but he think, what's the point of having secret identity if he yell her name in front of everyone.
"Leave me alone !" He yell at her and push her back, but she keep her balance and and take her katana.
Jon hear in his back. "Yes, fight for me."
In the mind of Karyn a fight is occuring, like any anime character, she can break any hypnosis and controling spell just with her will and love. So she fight her body and the though who aren't hers. But for the moment she's about to slice in two Jon's body.
