"Yeah, I wish we had the stone back then," Jon said.
"Jon, watch it. You could have been holding the stone."
"You're right. From now on I'll try not to say 'I wish' at all." Jon turned around to go to his locker, when suddenly he ran face-first into Steve "The Stud" Farber, one of the school's bullies. When he did, the stone dropped out of his pocket and onto the floor.
Steve picked it up. "Why would you say 'I wish'?" His next sentence, unfortunately, counted as part of a wish, since he said the words 'I wish' before it. "I ..." he continued.
