The eight girls walked back to the classroom. The five that used to be boys not even an hour before had no memory of that life. They only remember themselves as girls. And the three girls that were always girls remembered the five "new" girls as always being girls. Mrs. Raiford was the only one that had her memories unaltered.
Jenna sat down at her desk, next to Karyn. "Why exactly did we go out to the bus?" she asked Karyn.
Karyn shrugged her shoulders.
"Why do I feel like I'm forgetting something?" Jenna asked.
"I don't know," Karyn answered. She took the stone out of her purse. "Maybe this thing can help."
"Maybe you shouldn't. That's what got us into this whole Magic School Bus mess in the first place."
"I'll be careful. I wish ..."
